Difficult to find any information on this optic at all, even from Bushnell. As a matter of fact, after two phone calls, I still have nothing from them. Feeling adventurous, I purchased one a few weeks ago. It has not been used in the field yet, but hope this information helps. 1) Elevation turret has 100 clicks per rotation and is marked 0 - 9, just like a scope with 0.1 Mils per click and 10 Mils per revolution. Top of turret has "1 Click / 0.5CM @ 100M" marked on it. 1 Click / 1CM would be similar to 1 Click / 0.1 Mil, so the top marking would seem to indicate 1 Click / 0.05 Mil, which would be cool, but that doesn't make sense with the 0 - 9 marked about the perimeter if we are indeed still talking CM. Won't know for sure until I get it on a rifle and zero it. From down to up, I get about 5.5 revolutions and there are no marks to let you know how many revs you've come up. 2) The reticle depiction is terribly misleading; the center dot diameter is about three times the width of the fine line, and about the same dimension as the large line at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Only the dot is illuminated. I have another Forge scope with the Deploy Mil reticle and that center dot is about 0.15 mils; about three times that of my Mark 5 HD center dot. As it is not fine enough for detailed target work. I relegated it to a hunting rifle. Not sure where this 3-24 optic will find a home, but it is a tank, which doesn't make much sense for a hunting rifle either. The feel of the turrets and the image quality is reasonable at the list price, so I believe those items are great at current price.

For some this scope could well be 5 Star for quality, price, and service. I was not aware this particular scope was marketed for the European buyer, and it did not come with lens caps, and full scope cover, and with a very different reticle. The Forge marketed in the US. comes with all the scope goodies and a MIL or MOA type reticles. I ended sending the scope back as I wanted it to match the other Forges's I Own. Euro Optic was very gracious and timely in helping me send the scope back. I will continue to do business with such a great company.

The Bushnell Forge line is a great value but being discontinued makes it hard to recommend. The glass is clear and the 8x magnification is incredible. 3-24 is a great choice for small targets when the rifle has some recoil. You can get back on target quickly. Europtic offered insurance for an additional $5 and it resulted in 2 day shipping without the cost.
